Air impact drivers deliver high torque without much effort on your part, so these tools can come in extremely handy when you have a job that calls for a lot of power with minimal operator input.
What are Air Impact Drivers?
Perhaps we should start by loosely defining an impact driver:
An impact wrench, which may also be known as an impactor, air wrench, air gun, rattle gun, torque gun or windy gun, is a power tool socket wrench. It is designed to provide high torque output with a minimum of exertion by the operator. It works by storing energy in a rotating mass and then delivering it in a burst to the output shaft.
Air impact drivers, or pneumatic impact wrenches, work in the same way as the impact wrench described above and are powered by air.
If you are at all familiar with air tools, you are already aware of the many advantages they offer such as:
- Less Operator Fatigue
- And More
